Rejection = Validation

Treat each rejection as market research, not as a personal failure. Every “no” hides information that guides you closer to your target.

The fear of hearing “no” can freeze you in place, but in practice each rejection is just background noise on the road to the next “yes.”

While organizing events, I sent countless cold emails, made calls, and met speakers face-to-face—and about 99 % were rejections. It felt brutal until I started logging every “no” the way a scientist records experiments: count, learn, adjust, repeat. Each refusal revealed wrong timing, approach, person—or simply the wrong day.

Most people never send the email, make the call, or ask the question because they’re terrified of rejection. Yet avoiding “no” also means avoiding every possible “yes.”

So stop taking “no” personally. Track it, decode the pattern, tweak your approach, and keep going. You can’t reach “yes” without collecting the “nos” first..
